Bases
These are the 12 base skins. You are free to edit and draw over these skins for your own designs. No other user-made skins are allowed to be edited. If you want to make a skin from scratch, feel free to use the plain outlines.
How to design for the plus size base:
The plus size base is not a complete skin, allowing users to use the same faces for all the bases without designers having to make multiple versions of each face. To design a face for the plus size base, you simply do it like you would a non-plus size face, following the same base outlines as the original skin. Not doing so is a breach of the body mod rules. To use a face with the plus size base, simply layer it underneath the skin itself.
If you want to create a skin with an entirely new skin tone for this base, you can merge the face with the skin the same way you would with the original base.
If you only want to create your own skin but not in a new skin tone, you do this the same way you would the non-plus size base. Keep in mind that you need to keep the transparent fade along the jawline to ensure your skin stays compatible with the in-game faces.
Max Canvas size
221x340 pixels
This is an image that showcases the maximum size your design can be. Designs that are outside of this frame (the black) will be rejected and can not be used, so make sure your design is inside of the limit!
Background items:
Full on backgrounds are NOT allowed, as this is a StarPass feature.
However, you are allowed to make backgrounds consisting of individual pieces that layer together to cover the visible background.
Submissions that contain nothing but e.g. a background glow or hearts from a heart brush will NOT be allowed anymore. Please draw the elements of your background item yourself! Slight use of pre-made brushes is allowed, but your submission shouldn't contain just brushes/stamps. Background items like these are only allowed if they are part of a well-made complete set.
Speech bubbles and other word-based submissions also fall under this category and will only be accepted if part of a cohesive set.
