Howdy Cloudies!

My last announcement did not go over as well as I hoped, so please allow me to try again:

I understand that the reduction of stars has been shocking and upsetting to you all, and I want to apologize that there was no announcement prior to the last one.

I want to be a little more specific with the reason for this change: with the introduction of the real life currency designer kickback, it would be impossible for us to afford the ads as well. We have prioritized paying the designers for their hard work and beautiful designs, and we hope you can understand why this temporary change had to be made.

There is good news: we are planning to implement a feature which returns a similar amount of stars to the one you're all used to for approximately the same amount of effort, it just won't be the ads feature. So, please be assured that the current state of "star-catching," if you will, is only temporary while I code the next update.

Once again, I am so sorry for the lack of communication regarding this change. I am going to learn from this experience and communicate more effectively in the future.
