Creator FAQ
How do I become a Creator on Everskies?

Everyone with StarPass can submit designs. To achieve the Creator rank and the pink name you have to meet some monthly requirements. You can submit your designs and also find the requirements in our Creator Studio

How do I design?

Everskies does not provide a built-in tool to create items so it's all up to you to find a software that works for you. Many of our Creators use softwares as Procreate, Photoshop, Krita, Sketchbook and so on. The most important is to remember our max canvas size, 221x340 pixels. You can find bases and canvas examples and explanations HERE

Where can I find the rules for designing?

We are currently updating our design-rules to make it easier and more manageable for newcomers. Please make sure to read the rules HERE before submitting a design.

Down below is listed the most important rules:

  • Everything submitted has to be created solely by you*
  • Avoid copyrighted characters/brands/logos
  • Do not steal/alter other users' designs, art theft is not tolerated
  • The designs has to follow Everskies' TOS & ROC, keep items PG 13.
  • Outfits are NOT designs and submitting outfits will get you blacklisted from designing

*This doesn't apply for collabs and similar.

Do I have to make my skin/face in all of the 6 default skin tones?

Including the default 6 skin tones when creating a face/skin is a solid rule.
You can create fantasy / extraterrestrial skins. Including darker/ lighter tones for those is beneficial, but is not a solid rule.

How long does it take for my design to be reviewed?

Within 7 work days, unless we have plans for them! Some designs might take longer if we have to investigate a situation but you will then receive a message about it.

My design got accepted but it was configured wrongly, what do I do?

The designer is the one with the responsibility when it comes to configuring the design properly. If your item/ set contains errors, please post HERE with the proper guidance to how to fix your items and they will be fixed when possible. You can also request name-changes and other in this forum. If this doesn't help you out, please message our support at support.everskies.com

My design was denied for quality and I don't know what is wrong, what to do?

Our biggest advice is to compare your items with other popular items in-game and look at the quality of these. Asking experienced creators for feedback in clubs made for this is also always a good idea. If you need further explanations or don't understand the feedback given, please message an Admin or support.everskies.com Please note that there is no set time for an answer!

How does a set become limited in the shop?

The main requirement is high quality and or a unique design concept containing items for plus-size as well as the minus-size base. If we decide your set qualifies as one, we will contact you prior with information about when it will be released and here we can also discuss the quantity you’d prefer for it to be released - we appreciate when you put this in the description box though. When this happens you can also request to receive some sets to give out to your followers (either on a social media or on your blog). You can also choose to host a competition.

When will you get the payment (in cashoutable stars) for item(s) used in Official Events?

At latest, the day after the competition has ended. Parrot is the only one who can give out this payment and for it to happen it requires him to be available. For Creator ranks; be aware that these always update at 8am CET.

Am I allowed to make body-mods and how should I price them?

Everyone is allowed to make body-mods as long as the mod is included for both the plus-size as well as the minus-size base and includes all base-tones. We have gotten a lot of new mods lately which can be overwhelming and we encourage everyone to look into the already existing mods before making their own to see if there's one that fits their needs and their design. We will be denying body-mods that are too close to already existing mods.

From now on every mod* has to be submitted for both bases as well as being priced for 1SD/1 star (we will be pricing the body-mod for 0 stars but currently the system does not allow users to price their items for 0 currency). Body-mods will also require a certain quality in order to be accepted and by making and submitting a body-mod you allow any other user to use this for future designs as well as grant them the ability to recolour it to fit their own submissions.

You are allowed to re-color* and shade each of the bases as long as you do it for both the plus-size and minus-size base as long as this makes sense to the nature of each base of course, these do also have to be priced as 1SD/1 Star. You are not allowed to profit off other users' body-mods and if you design for other users' body mod you HAVE to include the name of the body-mod in the name of your item.

You are only allowed to re-color the base and body-mods if you are gonna use them in your set and we do not approve just re-colors. We have the final say in which re-colors are approved.

To avoid these requirements, you can always make body-mods that are attached to other items. These you can price as you wish, however they still have to be created for both bases if it makes sense.

*The general definition of body-mods is any modification of the body that needs an opacity mask in order to fulfil its purpose. Add-on ears, chest/breast modifications and shading and so on are not body-mods.

Are there any requirements/rules for items priced for Stars?
  • The concept has to be yours and you shouldn't profit off others' artwork/creations. Inspiration is always allowed but straight up designing and submitting an OC by another individual, an already existing character or similar is not allowed.

  • From May 1st - everything submitted for stars from this date has to come with a plus-size counterpart, meaning that if you submit a shirt for the minus-base for stars you also have to create a plus-size version of that same shirt. This does not apply for submissions the other way around however as you are allowed to submit plus-size items without them having a minus-size option. If you wish, you are more than allowed to split the set into 2 submissions; one for the minus-size and one for the plus-size, as long as they are submitted at the same time!

Can I make overlays and backgrounds?

We do not allow stand-alone overlays (gradients and full colors) and backgrounds*. You are only allowed to submit overlays if these makes sense to your design, same goes for full backgrounds however in certain cases we do allow background only sets.

*Full backgrounds are not allowed as these are a StarPass feature as mentioned in the rules above.

I requested a payout, how long does it take in order to be issued?

Due to us checking for payment frauds and other needed investigation when a user requests a payout, it usually takes up to 14 bank days in order for payouts to be issued. You will get a notification when it's issued on our end! If you haven't gotten a notification within 14 bank days, please send a message to one of our Admins and they will assist you when possible.
