Hi everyone, it’s time for the grand reveal! If you participated in the puzzle scavenger hunt from yesterday, we just want to give you a quick thanks for joining in.
And now we are glad to announce…. Everskies is introducing a brand new feature called Lunar Loot! These stellar bags will be filled with all kinds of goodies, and this time around you can collect the amazing April set created by Avassin!
This new feature is something we have been working on for a while, and we are so happy to finally introduce it to you all.
You can obtain the loot by interacting with competitions, events, or missions that are released on-site. This time around, you can obtain the Lunar Loot as a participation prize in the April Showers competition!
Once you have won some loot on Everskies, you'll be able to go to your wardrobe and find a loot bag. Long-tap on it and you will see a fun little open button appear! Right now, Lunar Loot can only be opened using the Everskies Mobile App.
From there, tapping on the open button will bring you to the loot screen; where your bag will open to reveal either Stars, Stardust, or the items from the new set by Avassin! You even have a chance of winning the WHOLE set in one spin.
Each Lunar Loot costs 200 Stars to open; however, these bags are tradeable, so feel free to buy/sell/trade them with others. The skies are the limit!
On top of that, we are also happy to announce a few different things:
-You will get one free bag for your first spin! This will be given along with the other bags in the April Showers competition, so make sure you participate. You wouldn't want to miss it!
-Galactic Hunt is on the way, and will hopefully be occurring in May. Time to prepare for another awesome season!
-Behind the scenes, our team is working on bringing you even more new content. Event theme suggestions, in-game suggestions, and areas for improvements are all feedback being taken into consideration for our next update.
Thank you all for reading! We hope you enjoyed the puzzle, and look forward to what will come! If you have any feedback for the loot, please leave your thoughts below. We will be going through this thread over time to gather your input.
Hi everyone! ⭐
We just wanted to thank you all for the input you’ve offered on our new Lunar Loot bags. We’ve gone through all the pages in this thread and taken note of the most frequent feedback, criticisms, and concerns provided along with other similar comments. In the future, we hope to make improvements to Lunar Loot taking these things into account along with your guidance as our users. Thank you once again!
Behind the scenes, we’ve also been taking the time to consider some of your commonly asked questions so we can talk about them properly. Below, we’ll answer some questions that were posted in the hopes of better explaining Lunar Loot.
Is this gambling? Why are you promoting gambling?
Lunar Loot is not gambling; please continue reading to find out why. Lunar Loot’s interface is heavily inspired by the design of a gacha/loot box system, which offers an exciting animated game-frame before revealing exclusive in-game content. There are multiple reasons why Lunar Loot is not considered gambling, which we will include below:
Lunar Loot does not require real-life currency in order to be obtained or opened. The items included also do not require real-life currency.
Lunar Loot can be won on-site through regular gameplay, such as joining competitions, participating in on-site events, trading for loot on the marketplace, and more. Lunar Loot also never expires, so you can open a bag at any time.
To open Lunar Loot, it costs 200 Stars. There are a number of ways to gain Stars through regular gameplay. Stars can be obtained through surveys, advertisements, selling outfits/items/magazines, using the daily scratchy, trading on-site with other users, and other options.
The items from Lunar Loot can also be obtained through trading with other users and in Orbital Outlet.
Lunar Loot cannot be exchanged for real-life currency.
It goes against Everskies’ Rules of Conduct for off-site trading and selling to occur, and any items earned from Lunar Loot are only for in-game use and entertainment purposes. All items can only be obtained for in-game currency and accessed through the in-game marketplace. This feature is only intended for entertainment.
Lunar Loot shows what items you can earn, and discloses the percentage of earning each item in every bag.
Each Lunar Loot will always fully disclose what you have the possibility of earning and give you transparency about the probability of each item that can be earned. You will always get something regardless of the probabilities, and you are guaranteed to get something different than what was received in your previous bag opened. You are also guaranteed to not get the same thing twice in one bag.
Lunar Loot is still in its Beta test, and this is the first time it’s ever being tested on Everskies.
With that being said, there are bound to be things that need changes, flaws to be worked out, and improvements to be made. With your help and feedback, we hope we can improve this feature and make it even better for the future.
There’s not enough ways to gain Stars with the removal of the Currency Exchange!
We entirely understand your frustration here, and we are currently in the process of brainstorming even more ways to earn Stars and potentially some new feature that could replace the currency exchange. If you have any ideas for ways to earn Stars, please leave us a comment or give these suggestions at support! We are open to all ideas and suggestions.
Where are the probabilities?
The probabilities will become much clearer and easier to access when you view Lunar Loot itself, and can be seen before you even open any bags. When you long tap on Lunar Loot in your inventory, it will bring you to the loot where you can view the probabilities.
Where does the bag go? Will I keep it?
The bag will disappear from your inventory once you open your Lunar Loot. From there, whatever you win from Lunar Loot will be given to you automatically. You will receive all variants of any item earned, and you will keep what you win.
What about Lunar Loot for Stardust?
In the future, we hope to provide opportunities to open some Lunar Loot bags for Stardust. Thank you for your input on this!
To end this post, we just want to extend a massive thanks again for all your feedback, it’s been incredibly helpful in this process and we appreciate those of you who took the time to give constructive feedback and share your thoughts in detail with us.
Thank you again! If you have any remaining comments or questions, we will do our best to respond to them. Also, we would greatly appreciate any more ideas, suggestions, or feedback about Lunar Loot and general in-game suggestions.

Any information about the star situation? It seems unfair to wipe currency from users who got it fairly and had no idea it wasn't legitimately earned

Not so amazing
Alright so I’ll edit this and give you an honest and calm feedback, based on what I saw in the comments and in the posts from the userbase.
First of all, I think this could have worked well. The idea is nice, the set quality is amazing and the layout is truly cute, but there are things that are bothering me.
First, the price. I think the es team is not dumb, and that they know what happens in their community ( or at least I hope they do, if they don’t well, it’s very sad. ). I really don’t see why you thought ( not aiming directly at the poor individual that’s behind the account, but at the people that gave this idea + that made it go that far into development ) it was a good idea to price this 200 stars. Of course I understand that Everskies is a business, and that they need to make money, but 200 stars is clearly way too much. After the removal of the currency converter, that already caused a big negative backlash ( with quitting users, and more generally, users that were angry at es ) it’s been nearly impossible to get stars. No, the average es users doesn’t have stars, and no, not everyone is ready to pay money to get silly items ( this will be explained further later ). You will tell me : but there ARE ways to get stars. Maybe you can get stars, but how much ? 3 stars with ads, and what, 100 stars with offers if you’re lucky and don’t pick ones that are a scam. « There is also creating items for es and selling your wardrobe !! ». Trust me, most designers won’t use their stars in game and will save them to get irl money. And how can we sell wd for stars, when no user has stars to buy them ? It doesn’t make any sense.
This, considering we have a pretty high chance to get 1k sd as a prize, after giving 200 stars, when 1k sd is 3 stars ( with 1:300 ratio ). Please it feels so not worth it.
Second point is the gambling addiction. A lot of users said this update is straight gambling, and I think they’re right. I’m not a professional on that topic, but I think the comments are full of reasons explaining why it’s wrong. I should also say that this game is 13+ and that it’s pretty unhealthy to give that much assets related to irl money to a young public like this.
Third point, is my personal opinion on this and why it makes the game less funny. Why I joined and liked es was because it was so free to play friendly. I came from another dress up game in which everything ( everything pretty and nice ) was for users that paid only. Es was so refreshing, because I was able to get everything I wanted for free. Now, with all of the recent updates, it feels like this f2p aspect is getting removed more and more. Everything costs stars, more things linked to irl money, and stardust loosing so much value. It’s ruining the game for a lot of us, and I could again see some users quitting after this announcement.
To conclude, I just want to say that it’s not to late to scrap this idea and to listen to your userbase for once. I really hope you read this, and if you did thank you !! I really hope you’ll take our opinion into consideration.
